How to add a link

To learn how to add links in Tarvent, follow the steps below or watch the video above. In this article, we will go over how to add links to external webpages, surveys, forms, landing pages and contact actions like unsubscribe.


Here are the steps:

  1. In the drag-and-drop editor, select a text or content element. NOTE: If you are in a code your own or plain text email, you can skip this step.
  2. Highlight the text you would like to link.
  3. Click on the icon that looks like a link in the toolbar.
  4. In the dialog, select which link type you would like to add.
    1. External link
    2. Survey
    3. Form links
    4. Landing page links
    5. Action links
      1. One-click unsubscribe
      2. View online
  5. Specify your link text. By default, this will be the text that was highlighted, but it can be changed to whatever you'd like.
  6. If external link is selected, specify the link URL.
  7. Specify if the link should be tracked or not. If tracked, clicks on the link will show up in the campaign report.
  8. Click insert.

Tips

  • To edit a link, you can highlight the link or have this cursor on the link and then click the link icon.
  • Links can be personalized. In the link URL textbox, personalization can be added by clicking on the icon of the person with a gear.
