How to add a code element

To learn how to add code elements in Tarvent, follow the steps below or watch the video above. In this article, we will go over how to add code elements into your email content.

Here are the steps:

1. In the drag-and-drop editor, click the plus icon.
2. Drag on the code element into your email content.
3. Once dropped, select the code element.
4. In the code settings on the right, you can change the insert your code.
   1. NOTE: Due to security reasons all JavaScript is stripped out.
   2. The toolbar allows you to add personalization, dynamic content, links, images and documents.
5. Optionally, you can change the background of the code element.

Tips

• Due to this being custom code, we cannot guarantee that it will look good and be responsive on all email clients. Send a test to yourself before sending to you contacts to make sure everything looks good.
