Audience reports
Audience Reports help you understand what is happening inside an audience at a glance. These reports roll up engagement, deliverability, growth, and activity so you can spot problems early and make better sending decisions.
What you will learn
- What each audience report shows
- How to read key engagement signals
- Where to start when something looks off
Where to find Audience Reports
Go to Audience, open an audience, then select Reports.
Audience vs group reporting
All audience reports support reporting at two levels:
- Entire audience: shows results across the full audience.
- Specific group: shows results for contacts inside one group.
To run a report for a group, select the group from the report’s View selector. Only groups that have been used within the last 30 days will be available for reporting. If a group hasn’t been used recently, it may not appear in the selector until the group is used again.
What is included
- Executive Summary (high level overview)
- Report Card (audience health and recommendations)
- Engagement Analytics (engagement distribution, stages, trends)
- Growth and Health (new contacts, unsubscribes, list stability)
- Campaign Impact Analysis (how campaigns affect engagement over time)
How to use these reports
- Use the Executive Summary to decide what needs attention today.
- Use the Report Card when you want clear recommendations.
- Use Engagement Analytics to choose who to send to.
- Use Growth and Health when you are investigating list changes.
- Use Campaign Impact Analysis when performance changed and you need to know why.
Common questions
Do these reports include suppressed or unsubscribed contacts?
Some sections show totals across all non deleted contacts, but most engagement metrics focus on mailable contacts only. This keeps engagement rates meaningful for sending decisions.
Why do some metrics show blank or zero values?
This usually means there was not enough activity in the selected time window to compute the metric.
Why does the report not include today’s activity?
Audience Reports use day-based reporting windows. Because data is processed in batches, report data is available through yesterday.
If you made changes today (imports, unsubscribes, list cleanup, sending activity), you may not see those reflected until the next processing cycle.
