1 Overview

Center map
The journey map is the visual canvas where triggers, steps, and flow logic are connected.

Left panel
The left panel includes Add, Edit map, Smart stops, Goals & conversions, Settings, and Reports.

Right-side editor
Click any journey item to open its settings on the right. Many editors use common sections like Name, Settings, and Apply to which contacts.

Note: Journeys use the selected audience for contact data, criteria, and related fields.

Click any item in the journey map to open its editor on the right. Common sections include Name, Settings, and Apply to which contacts.

What opens in the right-side panel when I click something?
The editor for that trigger, step, or flow item opens on the right, and the fields shown depend on the item type.
What is Edit map used for?
Edit map helps you adjust the layout and spacing of the journey map so larger journeys are easier to read.
Do all item editors look the same?
They are not identical, but most follow the same pattern so they are easy to learn.
