Branded domains billing and tiers

Branded tracking domains are included with paid plans, and an add-on can raise your limit if you need more. This guide explains what's included, how the add-on tiers work, how they're billed, and what happens if you cancel.

  5. FAQs

1 What's included

Paid Tarvent plans include up to 50 branded tracking domains at no extra cost. That's enough for most businesses, and for most agencies managing many clients. Some older plans may not include branded domains by default; on those, adding the branded domains add-on is what enables the feature.

2 Raising your limit with an add-on

If you need more than your plan includes, an add-on raises your limit to a higher tier, such as 75 or 100 branded domains. A couple of things to know about how the tiers work:

  • The tier you choose is your new total limit, not an amount added on top. Choosing the 75 tier sets your limit to 75, and the 100 tier sets it to 100.
  • The price for each tier is shown when you choose it. If you need more than the highest listed tier, get in touch and we'll set it up.

3 How the add-on is billed

The branded domains add-on is a recurring subscription that matches your plan's billing schedule, so it renews on the same rhythm as your plan rather than on a separate date. When you add it or move up a tier, you're billed the prorated difference for the rest of your current billing period, and the review screen shows exactly what you'll pay before you confirm.

Note: You're billed for the tier (your limit), not for how many domains you've actually set up. You can add and remove domains within your limit at any time without changing your bill.

4 Changing or canceling

You can move to a different tier or cancel the add-on at any time from your plan settings. If you cancel, the add-on stays active through the end of the term you've already paid for, and your limit returns to what your plan includes after that. Moving down a tier takes effect the same way, at the end of your current term.

5 FAQs

Does the add-on stack on top of my included 50?
No. The tier you choose becomes your total limit. The 75 tier means 75 domains total, and the 100 tier means 100 total, not 50 plus the tier.
Am I charged for domains I haven't set up yet?
No. The add-on price is for your limit (the tier), not the number of domains in use. You can add and remove domains within your limit without affecting your bill.
What happens to my domains if I cancel the add-on?
The add-on stays active through the term you've paid for, then your limit returns to what your plan includes. If you're over the included limit after that, you'll want to remove the extra domains so you're within your plan's allowance.
My plan doesn't seem to include branded domains. Can I still use them?
Some older plans don't include branded domains by default. Adding the branded domains add-on enables the feature and sets your limit. If you're not sure what your plan includes, check your plan settings or contact support.
