Get started with branded tracking domains
Branded tracking domains let you use your own domain for the tracked links, hosted forms, and landing pages in your Tarvent sending, instead of a shared Tarvent domain. That means the links your contacts see and click carry your brand, which looks more professional and builds trust. This guide explains what branded domains are, how they work, and what's included with your plan.
In this guide, you'll find:
1 What branded tracking domains are
When Tarvent tracks a link, hosts a form, or serves a landing page, it does so on a domain. By default that's a shared Tarvent domain. A branded tracking domain replaces it with one of your own, such as links.yourbrand.com, so everything your contacts see and click stays on your brand.
2 Why use them
- Brand consistency — tracked links, forms, and landing pages use your domain, not a generic one.
- Trust — recipients are more likely to click a link on a domain they recognize as yours.
- Separation — your sending reputation for those links is tied to your own domain.
3 How they work
Setting up a branded domain takes a few minutes and one DNS change:
- You add the domain (usually a subdomain like
links.yourbrand.com) in Tarvent. - You add a DNS record that Tarvent gives you, at your domain provider.
- Tarvent verifies the domain and automatically secures it with SSL.
- You assign the domain to one or more audiences, so their links, forms, and pages use it.
The step-by-step is covered in Setting up a branded tracking domain.
4 What's included
Paid Tarvent plans include up to 50 branded tracking domains, which is plenty for most businesses and even most agencies managing many clients. If you need more, an add-on can raise the limit. Some older plans may not include branded domains by default; on those, the add-on is what turns the feature on. See Branded domains billing and tiers for details.
