What this step does
The Add tag step adds one or more tags to the contact when the contact reaches the step.

Common settings you will see

Here are the steps:

  1. Open the journey, and add or click the Add tag step.
  2. Select or enter the tags to add.
  3. Set Apply to which contacts if needed, and click Save.

  • For each tag added to the contact, an event is triggered that journeys can listen to.
  • If the contact already has the tag, no event will be generated.
  • If the tag is not part of your account, it will be added.
