Campaigns 101

Walkthrough
Did you know?
There are two primary campaign types in Tarvent: standard and RSS.
Standard campaigns can be text-only, HTML markup, AMP, and the more common "Standard" campaign, which gives you an easy-to-use drag-and-drop editor.
When creating a campaign, you can enable multivariate testing. You can test multiple variations of your "from," subject, and content to see which achieves your marketing goals best.
Do you manage several campaigns at once? As you test your campaigns and deem them ready, you can mark them as "Ready to send." This option helps keep track of unsent campaigns that are tested but have yet to be scheduled.
Auto-resend can be enabled, which tells Tarvent that any campaign email that satisfies the auto-resend error rules set at the account level will be automatically resent.
Operational emails, which do not typically need to adhere to CAN-SPAM laws, can be sent to all contacts, even if the contact unsubscribed previously. Operational emails inform contacts of business hours, services, and other changes to normal business operations.
FAQs
How can I turn off tracking?
Suppose your privacy policies or business requirements preclude you from tracking various contact details. In that case, you can turn off different tracking types within campaign settings.
How can I test my campaign?
To send a test of a campaign, click the "test" link at the top right of the editor. The test functionality allows you to set a custom profile or select a contact from your audience to use their profile for testing. The email will be delivered using the defined profile for personalization and dynamic content. Furthermore, you can send the test to yourself, a list of emails, or a group. There is a limit of 30 recipients of your test.
Can I stop a campaign after scheduling it?
Yes. From the campaign list, you can click the three dots to the right of the campaign you wish to stop or pause. You can pause a campaign if there is an issue on your website that recipients may see when clicking a campaign link. You can only restart a paused campaign. If you stop the campaign, you cannot restart it. Tarvent will make available reporting for stopped campaigns, which provides information about contacts that did receive the campaign before it was stopped.
