1 Upgrading your plan

Upgrades take effect right away. When you move to a higher plan or tier, the new plan is charged immediately, prorated for the time left in your current period, and your new limits and features become available as soon as the payment is confirmed.

You'll need a valid card on file to upgrade. If your bank asks you to confirm the charge, you'll be prompted to do so as part of the change. See Managing your payment method.

2 Downgrading your plan

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep everything you've already paid for until then. Your chosen lower plan shows as your Next plan and takes over automatically when the period ends. There's no charge at the time you schedule a downgrade.

Note: Before a downgrade takes effect, make sure your contacts and usage fit within the lower plan so nothing is unexpectedly limited when it starts.

3 How proration works

When you upgrade mid-cycle, you don't pay twice for the same days. Your invoice shows a Credit for the unused time on your old plan and a Pro-rated charge for the new plan over the rest of the period. From the next renewal onward, you're billed the normal plan price. See How billing and invoices work.

4 Canceling your plan

When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then it ends. You keep full access in the meantime, and you're not charged again.

Before you cancel: Export anything you want to keep, such as your contacts and reports, while your account is still active. See our export guides in the help center.

5 What happens when an account closes

Once a canceled account reaches the end of its term, it closes. Access to the app ends for all users and connected integrations are turned off. If you decide to come back, contact our support team and we'll help you get set up again.

6 FAQs

When does an upgrade take effect?
Immediately. The higher plan is charged right away, prorated for the rest of your current period, and your new limits apply as soon as the payment is confirmed.
When does a downgrade take effect?
At the end of your current billing period. Your lower plan shows as your Next plan until then, and there's no charge when you schedule it.
If I cancel, do I lose access immediately?
No. Your account stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then it closes. Be sure to export anything you want to keep before then.
Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?
Canceling stops future renewals and keeps your account active through the period you've already paid for, rather than issuing a partial refund. If you have a special circumstance, contact our support team.
Can I reopen a closed account?
Reach out to our support team. In many cases we can help you reactivate and pick a plan.
