In most cases, the drag-and-drop editor is the best choice to create mobile-friendly campaigns that look great across all devices: phones, tablets, and desktops.
The editor has a great crash protection feature that saves content to your browser, so if your browser ever crashes, you can open it again and navigate to your campaign or template. Tarvent will allow you to recover unsaved data so you never lose your edits. You can also enable auto-save to avoid
The editor uses rows and columns to lay out your content. Each row contains columns with a restricted width to the overall desired width of your campaign. Just click above the first row to set the email width.
To edit a row, click on the row outside the content area. You can set background colors and more there.
Select a row or column to see editing options. The editing options allow you to move, duplicate, delete, and more.
Look for the gear icon when you select an element to control the contact profile criteria required to display the element. In the style editor on the right, you can select the device types to hide an element.
Look for the blue Artitelli icon at the top left of the editor. You can use AI to help generate content for your next campaign.
FAQs
If my browser crashes before I save my content, is it lost?
No. As you make changes, Tarvent saves your most recent edits to your browser. If your browser crashes, navigate back to your campaign or template. Tarvent will prompt you to recover your unsaved changes.
Can I change the width of the email, page, or form I'm editing?
Yes. Click above the first row, in the empty border area, to display the email or page settings. Look for the "Email width" or "Page width" setting to control the width of the content area.
Can I check the links that are in the content I'm editing?
Yes. Look for the horizontal chain link icon to the left of the editor. Tarvent will check all links and display the results. You can move your mouse over each link, and the editor will scroll the content area so the link is in view. Please note that Tarvent does its best, but in some cases, servers do not provide a valid response, even though the link is good. In that case, Tarvent will display a warning.
Do I need to resize my images so they will display correctly and not too big?
We always suggest optimizing your images the best you can. However, Tarvent will automatically scale the image. Hence, it displays correctly on mobile and desktop, eliminating the problem of displaying an out-of-proportion image.
